Other Steampunk Events
This year we had a request for a comprehensive list of Steampunk Events around the US and world. This is not a complete list, but we have done our best to search out and list as many as we were able to find and verify were still active events.
Sorted by calendar month:
Atlanta Steampunk Exposition will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody next year Feb 10-12, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Their theme will be Steampunk In Space!
Whitby Steampunk Weekend will be held in Whitby, Great Britain in the United Kingdom on February 10-12, 2023.
Wild, Wild, West Con will be held at the Casino Del Sol on March 9-12, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona. This event had previously been held at Old Tucson Studios.
Galveston Steampunk Festival – April 1-2, 2023 at the Galveston Railroad Museum in Galveston, Texas.
Clockwork Alchemy has moved to the San Mateo Marriott Hotel. Their event is scheduled April 7-9, 2023 in San Mateo, California.
Chicago Steampunk Exposition ~ April 14th to 16th, 2023 ~ Schaumburg, Illinois
C.O.G.S. Expo was held at the APA Hotel Woodbridge next May 13-15, 2022 in Iselin, New Jersey. 2023 information is not yet available.
International Steampunk Symposium will be held at the Holiday Inn Eastgate next June 14-16, 2023 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Steampunk Weekend at the Asylum will take place in the United Kingdom in Lincoln. Their dates will be August 25-28, 2023.
Key City Steampunk Convention was held August 12-14, 2022 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Currently waiting for 2023 event information.
Gaslight Steampunk Expo will return in the fall of 2024. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates. We will be hosting one day events in San Diego together with the local steampunk community throughout 2023.
Haworth Steampunk Weekend is located in UK. Their event was just held on October 7-9, 2022 at the Bronte’s Parsonage Museum and Keighley Worth Valley Railway in Haworth.

Other places you can wear your Steampunk outfits:
Search for local comic conventions and science fictions conventions in your area. Both of these types of events are very friendly to people in costume.
Recently there has been a trend at larger US Renaissance Fairs to hold themed weekends. Look for Time Travelers themed weekend or cosplay weekends.
If you have a group of fellow steampunks local to you, get together and meet up at fun, photo & costume friendly locations. For example, here is San Diego, we have the beautiful Balboa Park which provides lots of outdoor photo opportunities while you stroll through the many acres of museums, public gardens, and historic buildings.
