This special Trolley Bus Tour will include pickup and drop off at the Mission Valley Marriott Hotel, plus a self-guided tour of the Whaley House. There will be additional time in Old Town to grab a bite at one of the many fantastic restaurants and visit Old Town State Park or Heritage Park.

Some limited walking (less than 1 mile) will be necessary at Pioneer Park, El Campo Santo Cemetery, and at the Whaley House (a non-ADA historic property).

Dying to take a ride on the dark side? Join us for a spirited & entertaining tour built on stories of history, mystery and legends of San Diego’s past!  Travel back in time with us and learn about the spirits of notorious wild characters like gunslingers, gamblers and ladies of the night who lived and died in San Diego.  It is possible that their spirits live on in the dark recesses of our historic buildings and neighborhoods.

Pioneer Park – This beautiful gathering place where children play and folks get together to play sports, walk dogs, and enjoy the scenery, is steeped in history dating back to the late 19th century. It was one of the first cemetery in San Diego and is considered to be one of the most haunted spots in the city.

Journey through Old Town, walking through El Campo Santo Cemetery and ending at the Whaley House, both sites of many reported paranormal occurrences.

According to the Travel Channel’s America’s Most Haunted, the Whaley house is the most haunted house in the United States.  Although we cannot state positively that the House is really haunted, the voluminous documentation of paranormal occurrences at the site makes a compelling case.  But, if there are ghosts at the Whaley House, who are they and why are they here?

**Be warned, this tour is not appropriate for young children.  Costumes are encouraged. Part of the tour is walking, so please wear comfortable shoes or you will be dead on your feet.

Tickets are not refundable, but can be transferred to another guest.
