STEAMPUNK ACTIVITIES COMING UP IN 2017!

San Diego (SD) Steampunk is the most active community of Steampunks in Southern California as they regularly organize meetups and events in the greater San Diego and all across the Southern California area. Keep an eye on their website and they get invited to lots of different events throughout the southwest!

UPCOMING STEAMPUNK CONVENTIONS AND EVENTS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

November 5, 2018 – Steampunks Tour The Pasadena Museum of History – Join the Long Beach Company of Steampunks and Neo-Victorians in your best steampunk and historical style to visit Fenye’s Mansion, Finnish Folk Art Museum and Pasadena History Center! This private Tour will start promptly at 2:00pm, so please arrive no later than 1:30pm. Tickets are $15 per person, please purchase upon arrival. All profits benefit the Museum and Pasadena Historical Association.

January 20, 2018 – Wild West Steam Fest Winter Social – will take place at the Heritage Museum of Orange County in Santa Ana, California.

March 2-4, 2018 – Wild Wild West Con 7 returns to Old Tucson Studios in Arizona for their seventh year! Join the fun as Gentleman Robot, winner of the general election during the 2017 event, battle the city against the dinosaur invasion. Hotel reservations are now open and they are taking applications for vendors and presenters.

March 26-29, 2017 – Clockwork Alchemy has changed their dates and venue to the exciting Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California. Tickets are on sale now and hotel reservations are open.

April 20-22, 2017 – Comic Fest will be held at the Town & Country Resort Hotel in San Diego, California. They will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein and have asked the local San Diego Steampunks to participate in their fan friendly event.

October 2017 – Gaslight Steampunk Expo: Return to Vulcania – Join us for another extraordinary weekend at the Town & Country Resort Hotel in San Diego, California. As we join Captain Nemo on his return to his home port on Vulcania, we’ll stop briefly in Hawaii to enjoy some of the local festivities! Polynesian steampunk – a la Tiki-punk will guarantee steamy shenanigans of epic proportions. Specific dates will be announced soon!
